Looking for new artists that fit your needs? Want to easily monitor the playlist activity of your tracks and artists? Well look no further! We at Chartmetric are so excited to introduce our newest enhancements: Preset Match and Playlist Add + Removal Emails!
Now, you can receive a list of artists that match your desired preset and track additions and removals from playlists, delivered straight to your inbox.
Here's an overview:
Preset Match Emails
We are all about Artist Discovery, so we understand how time consuming sifting through the artist list can get. With our new Preset Match Emails, you can save your desired filters as a preset, and receive updates when we automatically match you with new artists that fit your criteria! This feature ensures that you won’t have to comb through artists profiles that you’ve already seen, allowing you to effectively spend your time exploring and discovering new talent.
To best use this feature, first create a preset by applying the filters you want in the Artist or Track Page. Then, click the “Save as Preset” button that will appear next to the selected filters. From there, either press yes when prompted for email notifications, or go into the Reports Tab → Intelligent Reports, and select the presets that you would like to be notified for under the Preset Monitoring Section. Voila! you’ll start receiving email notifications as more and more artists join your preset. You can view more information about them by clicking into Chartmetric directly from the email.
Playlist Add Emails
You can now be notified real time as your artist tracks have any new playlist activity changes. Scored by our playlist importance ranking and the position of the track, with this new email enhancement, you can easily see key additions of songs to playlists, daily. You can then click directly into Chartmetric from the notifications to take a deeper dive into both the track and the playlist data. With these emails, you’ll always be updated and never miss important playlist activity for your tracks.
Playlist Removal Emails
Similar in nature and yet the opposite of our new Playlist Add Emails, we are also excited to introduce Playlist Removal Emails. These emails will inform you of when your songs have been removed from important playlists, and what position they were in prior to the removal. With the knowledge of both playlists that your songs are added to and removed from, you can quickly monitor the new activity of your tracks and artists.
To set up Playlist Add and Removal emails, go to the Reports tab → Intelligent Reports, and select the check box for “Followed Artists and Tracks” to subscribe!
What's Next?
We’re always looking to improve the user experience on our product and are paying special attention to our emails, as they offer a quick window into the platform and data. To do so, we are looking into:
- Redesigning the report center to streamline the process of subscribing to and customizing emails
- Upgrading the look and feel of our various types of emails
- Designing new features to allow users even more customization in receiving notifications of important events and alerts
